I just love Elder Holland and angels is one of his favorite topics. Here's a quote I keep on my fridge (place of high honor!) from a BYU speech he gave in 1980

I love that they come with reckless speed! We so often need that kind of speedy help.

Oh...Sandee...THANK YOU for sharing that quote of Elder Holland's...I can just picture in my mind...all those chariots...or even an army of angels...surrounding all those we love and those who love Father...I know, there have been times, I have been prompted to PRAY to have "angels" surround one of my children...on a given day...when I felt "uneasy"...There was a "comfort" in asking for such a blessing...I KNEW my prayer was heard...and was granted...
ReplyDeleteI must make one comment here...I just finished reading Elder Holland's talk...As we face our "Gethsemanes" in life...this talk not only brought a peaceful assurance that Father is ever mindful of us...but, my mind...went to MOMENTS in my life...that ONLY a GOD IN HEAVEN would have ever known the "troubled" situations and sometime life threating events in my life...I have a STRONG TESTIMONY of Elder Holland's words of counsel and statements of fact...We are truly being "watched" over...not only ourselves but...those we love...
